Presentations and Gradings

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the very first British Aikido Federation junior shodan grade was awarded to Hannah Sherratt at the WaGoKan dojo in Manchester at the course with Ian MCClarence shihan on 27 November 2022.  Hannah has trained since she was 5 years old, initially in Lanzarote and from the age of 8 at Wa Go Kan dojo, under the guidance of Rob Yates sensei.  Hannah was the only junior student at the dojo for some time and from that start the Wa Go Kan junior section has grown to be the biggest in the BAF.

Hannah performed exceptionally well in her test and we are all really pleased with the progress she has made and the effort she puts in.
